Sat 26 May 01. Visiting from UK for the weekend, the only problem with the evening at Alison on Dominick St, was that it was reduced by 15 minutes due to a NY cabbie getting us lost! However..... This restaurant has an Excellent Atmosphere, A Menu which makes it so difficult to choose between extremely tempting dishes, Exquisite food in presentation, taste, & texture, a Wine List with Variety, added to Aware & Attentive service, and to cap it all the check did not require a second mortgage: Simply Fantastic Value. It really is a pity we live more than 3000 miles away.
